Cylon Raider Battlestar Galactica - Mattel 1978 - Restoration & Repair

[siteorigin_widget class="WP_Widget_Media_Video"][/siteorigin_widget] It’s hard to believe that the TV series “Battlestar Galactica” ran for 7 months, a total of 24 episodes. Given the short amount of air time, the toys that were produced are few.  The “Cylon Raider” being repaired and restored in the video is the first of two versions made by Mattel.  This […]

Boglins Dwork - Mattel 1987

[siteorigin_widget class="WP_Widget_Media_Video"][/siteorigin_widget] Other than just a cool hand puppet with a ton of personality, the background story on Boglins is pretty neat too. […]

Touch-up Paint Scuffs / GI Joe Adventure Team 'Sea Adventurer'

Paint scuffs to the heads of action figures are very common, and a easy fix.  The video walks you through the steps, which can be broken down to 3 key moves: Clean the surface.  Use a soft bristle toothbrush and I recommend Dawn brand dish soap.   Just a drop or two on the brush will […]

GI Joe Adventure Team Talking Commander Repair

Started off to clean up and make the speech of the figure a lit bit clearer (they always sounded a little garbled even when new), ended up turning into a shoulder repair as well.   Waded into some unknown waters on this one but I believe the outcome was still "Mission accomplished..".
